Tip of the week...Flower Pin in Glue Caps to prevent clogs

Hello My Dear Stamper Friends:

The tip of the week is for preventing your glues from clogging...
by inserting a pin on the cap

But you can decorate your pin as well
with a cute silk flower or a Butterfly...

You can insert as well the pin through the cap and have the glue all the time sealed...but I am using them so constantly that I do not even put the cap anymore just the Flower Pin...

I used silk flowers that I cut from the bunch,
-some long pins (thin ones), that you will insert from the top, (on the middle of the flower)

- some jewelry beads for the base of the flower ("crystal spacer beads")
- and all glued with the heat glue gun..

and have at your desk  all your favorite glues decorating your area...

  2. hi Bibiana, I do this to the glossy accents, no pretty flowers on though, trouble is my pin goes rusty, so I get brown bits in the glue, they are stainless steel pins one too.

  5. Cool idea Bibiana, but I´ve also had the same problem as Pam, that the pins would get rusty, don´t you, and if not, how do you prevent that?
