Spray Mists and Stencils

Hello My Dear Stamper Friends:

Today, it is the last day
for the chance to win a stencil over
at the language blogs for Memory Box...
last day for the stencil Blog Blitz...

I did cover quite a lot of techniques with the stencils...
I hope I have brought something new to your list of things to try...
Remember I  have a whole section under "more" about stencils for your future reference, showcasing what I have featured here at this blog all that is related to the use of stencils

Here it is the tutorial for this last technique:
Using Stencils with Spray Mists...

I decided to showcase this technique lastly because it is, besides the one with inks,  the one that it is the most know and easy to use...

The Word in wood is a little gift that one of my blogger Friends, Maryline from France send me.  And it means "Happiness"!

1- Spray over the stencil with a spray mist...("Tattered Angel- walnut gold" and  "Perfect Pearls- Bronze" ..these 2 colors give the "copper" look)
Note: use a "cover" box, not shown here, to protect your working area!

2- this is what it looks like...
-lift stencil
-let dry...(can bloat with paper towel or use  heat gun for faster drying time)
the paper curls, but when you heat dry, it will take its flat form again...

3- place second stencil over, secure it
- sponge open areas with walnut distress ink (I did this step to give more definition to the butterflies)
-DO NOT remove stencil

4- place stencil # 1 "butterfly vine" over it
-spray with another spray mist color the open areas...(gold color)

5- remove carefully 2 stencils
this is what it looks like...

6- stamp branch randomly... with walnut ink

7- color the wood word with "Viva Inka Gold", metallic rub in copper

A last View...

Thank you for the lovely visit!
