Poppies and more Poppies!!

Hello Dear Stamper Friends:
I am bringing to you two cards that I featured at The Memory Box Spanish Blog: "A crear Se Dijo!"...for our Spanish speaking readers and followers...

Last week we had at Memory Box, a blitz week and the challenge was to create cards using only
stamps with no dies...

So these are some examples for this challenge and if you scroll down, my 2 last posts featured cards using this same stamp...to showcase the versatility of this "Luminous Poppy"!!

Being from California I love Poppies...and best of all these new stamps from the Spring collection 2013 come now in "Cling" and they are already available at most craft stores!

The technique that I used was stamping with "Versamark" ink and then coloring the images with chalks using the cotton ball tool that comes in the chalk set...and I did some piercing...
The other idea behind these 2 cards is to show you how to use:
the same colors, the same stamps, the same technique but just by changing the layout of the card you end up with 2 totally different cards...

So just remember the layout is a key factor in creating a card...

The last thing that I want to point out is the bow...

Did you noticed that it has several loops? ...I did it using the "Bow-Easy", by just wrapping around the ribbon into the template, the instructions that come with it are very easy to follow...
Very Cool craft tool to have...huh!

Remember! You can subscribe to my blog on the side bar if you would like to receive reminders of my posts directly into your e-mail inbox.

Check out as well, my updated page on "More" section on the tool bar HERE with card kits available for purchase (all pre-stamped and die cut ready to be assembled)...

Ok dear followers, I thank you for stopping by and come back soon I will be presenting to you some mother's cards!!!
