Saint Patrick's Shamrock Fold Card

Hello Dear Stamper Friends:

If you are coming for the first time to my blog, I welcome you and I hope that you find interesting ideas here...I specially make handmade cards but from time to time I like to share other handmade projects....so browsed around!

This coming Sunday, we celebrate Saint Patrick's day..so I decided to make some cards related to this festivity...

If you liked this photo click on "Pin It" button:

History Note: "The Feast Of Saint Patrick is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated on March 17th. For Christians, the day commemorates Saint Patrick (Irish Patron Saint) and the arrival of Christianity to Ireland.
And according to legend, St. Patrick used the 3-leaved shamrock/ (Irish word for clover) to explain the Holy Trinity to the Irish people. It generally, involves public parades and festivals wearing the green attire and displaying shamrocks, which became in the 18th C. the symbol of Ireland and it is registered as a trademark by the Government of Ireland . Christians also attend church services and the Lenten restrictions on eating and drinking alcohol are lifted for the day."

Since the Clover is an essential symbol of the festivity I decided to make this "Shamrock Fold". I use the "Grand Heart" die and several heart stamps from Memory Box.
I stamped all the different backgrounds hearts, on both sides using different shades of green ink, die cut them and put them together with some ribbon ...the result is a Shamrock Fold card
I specially liked the way the ribbons are crossed, then added leaves and "Stickles"...

All the supplies are listed below...this is a very simple and quick card to assemble...yet very pretty, in  my opinion...
You can mailed it flat and when closed it looks like this:

I hope you will be back and  if you would like to received directly through e-mail reminders of when I will be posting,  Click Subscribe on the side bar to my blog and you get all the info this way and you will not miss anything...
Thank you  to the new and the "frequent" friends that came and visited me today...

I hope you have a new fold to add to you list of "To do's"...here it is a final look!
