"Paintable" Flowers with Petaloo

Hello Dear Friends:

I am here to share with you a card made with "Petaloo" flowers..

card with painted flowers with panpastels front

"Petaloo" carries a whole line of flowers that are "paintable" flowers...
you can alter them as you wish ...

petaloo flowers paintables

They come in white/cream color and are made in paper - 100% recycled cotton ...

For my project, I decided to "paint" them with "Panpastels"...

very easy and quick...just add the pastels with the foam applicator, make sure to spray them with a fixative
I added some glue, sprinkle some glitter and paint the leaves with pearlescent paint...

The border was punched with a "Martha Stewart" punch and used a die for the word...

Some close ups of those flowers..

  10. Of course I love this MS lacy feminine punched border, and wow! what beautiful colors these white flowers turned into! I'd never thought of trying pans, I've done sprays before (not terribly successful either!). This is just a lovely card, and I will be trying the pan pastels on some white flowers very soon. TFS & Hugs. Happy wkend.

  13. Absolut gorgeous work here again hun. I admit, I never thought of Oan Oastels to color flower either, but it really looks amazing and they´re really beautiful and such vibrant colors. Such a nice and easy card to make in a hurry, as you can just color a whole bunch of flowers up beforehand, so they´re ready, when you need them, then I can see, it´ll be a no brainer to wipe up a card in no time, if you suddenly miss one, which I´m very sure we all need from time to time, and it even looks amazing. Thanks sooo much for the great idea here, it´ll definitelæy be saved in my brain library for later use, that´s for sure.
Have a wonderful week-end and loads of great fun ahead now.
