Hello My dear Stamper friends:
Today I am a Guest Designer at "Paper Crafter's Library"
and here it is the project/VIDEO
that I prepare for them.
A "Parchment Craft" project
with a simplified and modern twist!
Andrea Walford, a former Stampin'Up! demonstrator, created in 2011 "Paper Crafter's Library", which consists in a public blog showcasing on Tuesdays the hot trends in papercrafting, presents various craft companies that sponsor give aways, on Thursdays invites designers (such as me for today's spotlight) and shares many free tutorials and projects.PCL also offers the option to be a member for a monthly fee and there you have access to a more comprehensive online library with tons of tutorial and videos.
Andrea not only has PCL, but 2 other personal blogs and she is a member of the Donna Downey Artist Gang at Donna Downey Studios
"Paper Crafter's Library" also is one of the sponsor for prizes in My "Throwback Thursdays" challenge...so If you want to win a Free 3 month subscription participate in my #TBT's for a chance to get one of these memberships!
"Parchment Craft" is a very old form of art transforming vellum into magnificent pieces, using traditionally several special tools and techniques that require lots of patience, dexterity and time...
I took the liberty to modify certain aspects of this ancient technique and apply to it our NEW and modern tools.
In today's Video, you will see the incorporation and use of steel craft dies along with stamps to make "Parchment Craft", innovation that I created in order to simplified the steps that "Parchment Craft" requires to achieve that lacy look.
I hope you will enjoy today's video on "Parchment Craft"
and Thank You to Andrea and "Paper Crafter's Library"
to have me again as a Guest Designer
