Tip of the Week: How to know if a certain color will work on a painting project

Hello My dear Crafter friends:

Here we go with a quick, simple but very effective tip!

The tip for this week is:
How to know if a certain color will match your project...

place a color on an acetate sheet and over your project...
and decide!

tip paint on acetate to see if a color works on a painting

Place a drop of that color paint on a clear acetate ( this is a good recycling tip as well)

My acetate comes from the packaging of craft products...
I die cut mine to make them to look like bookmarks, and give them as gifts to my fellow painters  friends...

Place the acetate over the painting, and see if that works or not...

In my case I did not like the red so I left it that way...without a red flower...
In another post I will revel to you what is that painting project, still working on it!

remember to clean your acetate !!! for future uses...

thanks for the visit, have a wonderful day
hoping that this tip will help you...
let me know how would you plan to use this one!!!
