Today it's the last day for the blog Blitz at Memory Box...You still have time to post your comment at my French blog: "Un brin de Créativité", where I posted this card, for the opportunity to win this "Gwyneth Flourish" die...
Tomorrow I will post all the winners for each one of the posts that I have at my language blogs for Memory Box...
Today, In France it is a big day...it's their "National day" , here is the USA it is more known as "Bastille Day", but in France is refered as "Fête Nationale" only...
Yesterday, Saturday night they were lots of parties over there and today on the 14th there is a huge military parade over the Champs Elysées in Paris and of course there is Fireworks over the Eiffel Tower...what I love the most is seeing the France Patrol (La patrouille de France) fly over the Champs Elysées "smoking" with the French colors...it is quite and spectacle when you are there...
Here are the supplies that I used...
The technique on the background is done by "smashing" the cap of the "distress stains " onto the paper and you get this effect of "splash"...
I try to make this card thinking on all this symbols...
-The heart represents all the love that I have for that country...
- The fireworks over the Eiffel Tower is made with that 3D snowflake, ...( cut 3 snowflakes, fold them in half and glue each half to the next half)... photo below
- the Splashes symbolize fireworks too...
more in detail..
The flourish has the technique of "Paper Piecing" ...
In another matter...
In my last post, I talked about "Bloglovin" and why "we" blogger readers should care...see my last post for more info on this new "site"...(if you did not see it)...
My subscribers via e-mail/Feedburner will still receive notifications of my posts via e-mail if you have subscribed yourself to my blog (side bar) ...
BUT, I advice you, as well to subscribe AGAIN using "Bloglovin", just because I thinks it is really much easy for all of YOU to follow, read and organize ALL your favorite blogs, not just mine, through this new site... I considered it as an "Add on"...
