Multi-color Embossing - Lavinia Challenge #3, add a Gem

Hello My dear Stamper Friends and Lavinia Fans:

As usual, on every 2nd of the month, The "Lavinia DT", we gather to make some samples for the monthly challenge and give you some inspiration through our creations and entice you to participate in this challenge: the theme for this month is "Add Gems" and  the winner will take £40.00 to spend at the "Lavinia" Online Store...

For my take for this month I use the Fairy "Sky"

The technique used in this card is
how to emboss using different colored embossing  powders...
"Multi-color Embossing"

First, use this "sophisticated" DIY tool (straw cut in a slant)
pick up with this "tool" some embossing powder (blue) and pour over the section that you want (bird)
Put back any powder on the jar...

NOTE: make sure NOT to touch any other area that has "Versamark' ink,

Add green embossing powder....put it back on the jar...

Then, choose a third color of embossing powder and repeat...
Cover the whole image following these steps...
Finally heat emboss the entire image with a heat gun.

The colors of embossing powder that I used were blue, green, platinum and gold...

And of course I had to add gems..lost of them...since the theme for this month was the incorporation of gems...

The tree was embossed with an embossing folder and the card was colored with pearlescent chalks/pastels.

I used a "Memory Box" die for the leaves that were colored a tiny bit with a "Copic" marker to give them a shadow effect...

At the bottom, I added some grass using "Flower soft"

  12. Amazing technique you´ve used here Bibiana, and the result is amazing. It looks fantastic and sooo beautiful. I´ve never tryed to emboss with several colors before, but often used just one and also the tip with the Flowersoft I´ve used many times, but this looks truly amazing. I love what you´ve done here.
