Valentine's with Lavinia - Challenge #2 Bright and Beautiful

Hello My dear Crafter and Stamper Friends:

A new challenge starts today, (every 2nd of the month) at the Lavinia's challenge Blog!
This month the theme is Bright and beautiful ...
Here are my two takes as part of my DT contributions...

I have to admit that bright colors are a little bit of a challenge for me...so I pick two different color schemes...

For the first project I chose to go with the colors of the month for Valentine's,  Red and mixed with some warm colors...

lavinia's alura die for valentine's front

The technique in here
is how to look at your dies in a different way...

Stretching your dies ....
in this case "Dissecting" your dies!

I took the beautiful "Alura" die from Lavinia (left die) and I die cut it 3 times, then cut parts of the die...

From the wings I made the butterfly and I cut the fairy to be by herself and used the remaining top flourishes to make like a half moon...

This way you are stretching your die and finding a new look...So I invite you from now on to look at your dies carefully and try to "dissect" them! to see what you might find...

And the second card is made with "neon/bright" cool colors... depicting Love for the month of February!

for this card I painted the background with "Luminarte Silks", which  are glazed acrylic paints and very vibrant...
then on a second paper I used a "Memory Box" stencil and sponged some neon inks for the background,

stamp the house and heat emboss it in black,
added some heart dies
and Voilà another valentine's card using Lavinia stamps!
