Today, for My DT (Design Team) assignment, I am featuring "Petaloo" flowers from the "Botanica" collection paired with "Authentique" papers from "the Beauty" collection.
I made an easel card.
These are the supplies used...
"Petaloo" flowers in yellow and gray;
"Authentique" die cuts, 3x4 journaling cards and 12x12 two sided paper
To make the easel;
- Step 1: Fold (in my case) a square card (it can be any shape). The front is fold in half again, like a mountain fold.
- Step 2; Prepare a single square panel and attach it to the mountain valley
- Finished: glue this last one to the front half panel, to make an easel.
I used the gorgeous New flowers from "Petaloo" in yellows and grays...and pearl clusters
My favorite are the grays; I found them so unique ...and these particular flowers come in velvet and tulle with beads for the pistils
The color combination was determine mostly by the "Authentique" papers.
When using Designers, printed papers, the work here is half done for you, because you do not have to guess in what color combinations you are going to be working with.
I used 1 journaling card and 2 different die cuts (a circular scalloped one for the front and this oval one)
and Some cream berry clusters from "Petaloo"
I like very much the sayings......
I love this "unique" color combo, it is the first time that I used it yellows and greys and I like them very much
A last view
Ok my friends, I hope you like this easel card
Thanks for the visit
and see you soon
for another project featuring another technique
