A "Good Luck" Wreath Card for New Year's

Hello Dear Stamper Friends:

I am bringing to you another card to celebrate this New Year.
I made it using Memory Box Dies and I posted this card at the Spanish Blog for Memory Box: "A crear se dijo!".

I used the Inlay technique for the wreath and I placed the Holly bouquet die in the center, embellished with some pearls.

I added the word "January" and the number "one" on top hanging from a leaf... and Voilà!

If you could not finish sending cards over Christmas to everybody, or if you are not religious
"New Years'" cards
are  an excellent way to say hello
and wish your friends a good year!

You still have time to include those left aside people
from your list
and wish them the best for a New Year...
You have time until the 15th!

Many cultures believe that anything given on New Year, in the shape of a ring is good luck, because it symbolizes "coming full circle", that is why I used the wreath...

and did you know that In Spain and Spanish speaking countries it is a ritual on New year's eve to eat twelve grapes at midnight and have 12 sprigs of wheat inserted on a glass of rice, sugar and some coins?
The tradition is meant to secure twelve happy months in the coming year with food, money and prosperity

How about you, Do you have any rituals on New year's eve?

Thank you for the visit...
see you tomorrow with more inspiration cards
for the New Year!
