Here, We are on the 2nd of the month for a NEW challenge! using Lavinia's Stamps...
This month, the theme is "add some ribbon"!
Every 2nd of the month, we the DT at lavinia stamps, we get together to show you what we have come up using Lavinia's stamps to help you get some inspiration and encourage you to join us in the challenge!
You can submit your card, (posting it and linking it through your blog or my e-mail) with the theme for the month at "Lavinia's Challenge blog" and have the opportunity to win £ 40.00 to spend at Lavinia's site! So hope you can join us!!!
For my cards I made 2 simple cards showcasing the ribbon!
On, The first card, the images; the "fairy; melody" and the "willow branches" are stamped with "Versamark" and I rub directly onto them some pearlescent chalks in different shades of blues and greens...
The butterfly is made out of 2 pieces of ribbon attached with some brads and added some dots...
See the chalks closely and the ribbon acts as a border...
A last view
The second one is very simple, the interest replies on the ribbon ...
I stamped the "acorn dwelling" with "versafine" ink
added a NEW die, that I got from "savy" stamps and the film strip is from "my favorite things"
I took a film die and inserted a ribbon in green...
then glued at the end a pink ribbon and inserted it in a spiral way...
a last view...
I hope you got some inspiration,
visit my fellow DT friends to see their samples
and hopefully we will see you playing along with us
by entering your creations ...
you may win a £40.00 voucher!!!
Thanks for visiting...
