Acetate Winter Scene Card

Hello My friends:
I am bringing you today another card made with acetate...that I posted at the French blog: "Un brin de Créativité"...this is a winter scene made with several NEW stamps from Memory Box.

pin it:

Just remember to use these little tricks when working with acetate...

1- you can heat emboss on acetate but make sure that you use acetate made for heat embossing, otherwise your acetate may burn or warp. I use "Judykins Embossable window sheets"

heat emboss on acetate

2- to attach the front acetate flap to the card attach a border die, leave a border, score and fold it to make it as a hinge, add strong red tacky tape...(the glue on the die, will dry clear)

3- To add ribbon to the acetate use glue dots. Place the ribbon behind and  hide your glue dots with a brad, this way the ribbon is more secure too...

4- hide the back of the brad with a piece of cardstock. I punched this small frame

5- the acetate back all finished

6- make a winter scene with several stamps. I mask the deer to stamp the trees..

7- open flat
