A Watering Can Card for Spring

Hello My Dear Stamper Friends;
I hope you had a nice week end...
I had a wonderful and busy week, I am still presenting to you NEW products from the 2014 Spring release of Memory Box...and there is more to come!...

Today I am sharing with you this watering can perfect card for Spring with some flowers made with an stencil...

I first, stenciled the delphinium flowers with 2 shades of ink and added some "viva decor: pearls"

I curved the watering can to give it dimension and the paper is a "mirror" silver paper and I added some curly stripes inside.
{some remains from my recent "quilling" experience; do you remembered the card that I did with some "quilling?" see it  HERE}

The tulips are a NEW die from "Poppystamps" and I colored the background with some "PanPastels" to give it that soft coloring...

OK my friends I leave you here and be tuned for more projects...

Thanks for the visit as always and for the comments
that you leave me,
they are a definite motor to my creativity!
Thank you!

as a quick remark: for the new commentators: if you leave me questions on the comments, please leave me your contact info, otherwise I can not contact you and answer to you...I had some
"anonymous" comments and I do not have a way to contact you to answer your concerns...

"Cosenza" Little Trees Lanscape

Hello Dear Stamper friends:
Another card featuring the NEW dies and stencils from The Spring 2014 release of Memory Box...

Today, I am sharing with you this landscape made with these small and very cute trees.

I posted this card at the Spanish blog for Memory Box: "A Crear se Dijo!"  and one of my dear friends, Danièle Bohr! and commentator mentioned that these cuties could be used as well as balloons and/or Lolly pops...how clever idea I have to try it!!!

I used a NEW stencil "starry night" for the background that I sponged with the "Viva inka Gold" metallic rub in silver...I love these rubs and they are so easy to use with the stencils...

I then cut hand free with scissors a small hill in white cardstock and place on top the "wildflower" corner die in green and cut the excess... neat idea to use your dies as backgrounds too!!!

 Here it is a last view of the "cosenza trees"...and maybe you can see the shine of the metallic rub "Viva inka gold".

Have a great week end,
thanks for the visit and the lovely comments...

Inlaid Poppies in Vibrant Colors

And the Memory Box Blog Blitz continues too
with this AMAZING New Collection for the Spring 2014!

Today I am bringing to you this card made with "inlaid" poppies in very contrasting colors!

I first started by doing the background:
I used with this NEW stencil "Blooming Frame" some "Panpastels". These great pastels are so vibrant in color and easy to use. I simply sponge some colors around the frame, making sure that the stencil is secured with removable tape (yellow) to the paper. When finished, remove the scotch tapes and the stencil and make sure to fix it with the fixative spray.

note: I recently found these "removable scotch tapes"..
they are great to work with your stencils...and for masking anything!!!

they are in reality called "Post-it adhesive Rolls" and they are used to label things, they come in white and bright colors, but I am really happy using them with the stencils...because they are paper on one side and on the other they have this adhesive that is strong enough to place whatever you want but they do NOT tear the paper underneath!
if you can give them a try! (mine in the photo is yellow)

I cut the poppies and the corner dies in black cardstock and cut extra flowers in purple and orange cardstock.

I then used the "Inlay technique"  on the flowers...which consists in inserting pieces of contrasting colors inside the depression on the die cut (like a puzzle, putting back pieces inside) and to add dimension I glued 2 petals on top of each other

A last view...

Thanks for the visit...and for the lovely comments!
