I posted this card at my French Blog For Memory Box as part of my contributions as a DTM...
I decided to give a rest to the dies and go back to the sources and use only stamps...
Perfect pearls are a magnificient medium to play with, very easy and the results are always so pretty and elegant...you can work with them in different ways , with water or with inks as in my case...
Here are the supplies;
Step by step:
1- choose a dark paper; navy, black, gray, purple etc...you can use light colors as well but the effect is more subtle
2- ink your stamp with "Versamark" or "Perfect medium" (ink sold when you buy the kit of perfect pearls by "Ranger") to make the powder stick...
3- with a fine brush dip the brush in the jar and pick up a LITTLE and brush your image.
I started with the white powder
4- do the same with the second, third, fourth color...here I use gold
5- wipe excess with a cloth or a dryer sheet from your laundry...
NOTE: you do NOT put powder back on the jar like you do with embossing powders or glitter, that is why is best to pick a little powder...
6- Optional; you can spray mist with a fixative. Not necessary, but is just to make it more permanent...
Recommend:if you are going to get some perfect pearls get the Kit, it comes with the brushes, the powders, in several colors and the ink...this is the way to go for a starter kit :)
It looks like those Asian lacquer furniture. Doesn't it?
Hope you like it and give it a try...
if you do! let me know, I will love to see what you came up with...and link our projects...
