Stamped Envelopes!

Hello Dear Stamper Friends:

I hope you had a nice Easter time and a "Fun" April Fool's day.  Any jokes or Hoaxes?
Do you know that In France children and some adults, on this day, tack paper cut out fishes on each other's back?  and they Shout "Poisson d'Avril"?...
I should of done a card with a fish :)...oh next time...!!!

OK, Today I will focus on the Envelopes...
Very often we forget to pay attention to our envelopes...so today's post is dedicated to decorate them!

if you liked this picture, click on "Pin It" button:
and share it in Pinterest!

I am posting several photos showcasing some ideas that you can use yourself at the moment of embellishing them...

Board that I place at my card classes with sample of cards and envelopes  as a reminder for my students NOT to Forget to stamp their envelopes!

FRONT: For the front you can simply stamp partially on the left side...

add some "Stickles"...

Using two stamps ...masking  technique...

Stamping on left side and on the bottom...

All the way around...

Add  "TO" and "From" ...

Use acrylic border stamps... easy for making a frame all the way around the rectangle...

Add a label/frame for the address and some flourishes on the corner...

Add leaves at each side of a frame...with some "Stickles"...

Stamp the entire envelope making a collage effect...

Another "mini" collage look on a corner and sponged with chalks...

Stamp on colored envelopes...

The flap as well...

Here some "Penny Black" flowers colored with "Copics" and distressed the whole with some inks

BACK:  For the back stamp the flap

Add a stamp... making a "faux" seal...

The flap is embellished with a punched edge in a different color

Here I use a Memory Box die and stamped the flap...

Add a sentiment..

Make an entire envelope using a punch ... (Martha Stewart) for a Lace look...

Make several labels to have ready like this one to put on front of boxes or packages...

Embellish/add more stamps images ( all the black and grey images) on "commercial" envelopes ...I did this for some Christmas envelopes that I needed ...

Ok I hope this is good reminder... and that you have some ideas...
I will love to see your creations...so If you decided to post some projects on envelopes let me know I will be more than happy to come and visit you at your blog...so leave me a link if you decide to showcase your envelopes...

As well, Line your envelopes...using coordinating paper from the card that you just created...
I have many more inspiration from other incredible crafters at my Pinterest gallery.
You will find there more photos on tools and videos on how to decorate and make your own envelopes ...so go over there and have a pick at My Pinterest board: Cards: Envelopes.
