Paint Swatch Book For My DecoArt paints

Hello My friends:

"Paint is all you need ...Period! "
that is how I named my paint swatch book
for my DecoArt Americana acrylic paints...

Like many of us, I enjoy organizing all my craft items/paint supplies as much as I like to make projects...
Since my collection of Americana acrylic DecoArt paint bottles is increasing, I decided to make a paint swatch book to itemized all the colors that I have for a quick reference when I need a certain color...

paint swatch book supplies

I started by painting the covers (in chipboard) in black acrylic paint
then I sketch my design, trace it in tracing paper and transfer the design in my surface
painted all the flowers, words etc with DecoArt Americana Acrylics...

I made myself a chart in the computer with some circles and lines
cut papers to same size as chipboard
punched the edges with a scallop punch
punch some circles in all the colors for the tabs

when done here it is how the front looks:
"PAINT is all you need...

Added ribbon, flowers  and loose binder rings

on the back says:

Vintage Altered Book Card

Hello Dear fans of Lost Coast Designs Stamps:

I made this card using the "Altered Book set" from Lost Coast Designs
to make this vintage looking card with some wear and tear!

front vintage teared altered book

For the background:
I embossed the background with the gears right bottom corner (from a Tim Holtz embossing folder), then sponged the background with several distress inks, finally stamped the flourish swirl

The Front:
I used a Spellbinders labels dies to make the book, stamped the "altered book" image, and teared the other image

Hope you like this card I enjoyed making it , I really like this set!

Guest Tutorial Designer and Writer at Splitcoaststampers! with my Carousel Storyteller Book

Hello My Dear Stamper Friends:
I am  very happy to share with you that I am  Again a Guest Tutorial Writer  at SCS! (Splitcoaststampers)

I prepared this Tutorial on How to make this "Carousel Storyteller" book that I created...

It is a "Storyteller" because on each of the 7 panels you can view a Christmas scene on a different setting...Christmas at home; Christmas in the garden; Christmas in the woods; Christmas in the countryside; Christmas in the Arctic; Christmas in the park and Christmas in the city...

I took the idea from my Triangular Diorama card / tutorial that I featured back in July See post Here...I placed several Triangular Dioramas next to each other, I adapted my initial idea, added more layers to make it look  like a "Carousel" and this is what I came up with...

This is how it looks closed...

View closed from the back...

BONUS

I made a card that matches the "Carousel"...
It closes on the side, this is the front of the card...

 When it opens.....

It reveals this scene;
A "Christmas in the woods" ...scene taken from one of the panels from the Carousel...
