Thank you card after a Baby Shower

Hello My Dear Stamper and Crafty friends:

This soft card, that I posted at the French blog: "Un brin  de créativité" for Memory Box was thinking on those newly moms that they need to make a quick card to thank all those beautiful gifts received after her baby shower...

thank you baby card
pin it:

Did You know that baby showers are not that common around the world?
It is an English tradition, inherited to the Americans and most of Latin countries celebrated too going with the American style of life.
And the umbrella and rain drops are typical themes of baby showers because in Victorian times it was customary to "showered" the mother with gifts hidden in a Parasol...

stencil raindrops and foreign words

Isn't great that MB has words in different languages?, they have them in English, French, Spanish, Polish and German...
great for those of us who has a lot of friends overseas or just for the fun to use many languages in your cards too

baby card with stockings

I used the Christmas stockings and turn them into baby socks and
I used a "pearled" acrylic paint with my stencil by dabbing carefully with a sponge

Ok my friends, thanks for the visit and see you next time..
