The butterfly "Dream Butterfly" is from "Poppystamps" die collection...
for The light blue butterfly: I cut the extra wings to make it smaller and place it on top of the dark blue one
the solid background is cut with scissors roughly after tracing the die silhouette on blue paper

the stems are taken from seaweed dies

Holy Week: Beautiful Garden

Hello Dear Friends:

On this Saturday, I am bringing you this magical and faerie garden...

I used mainly "Poppystamps" Dies from the Spring release...
The Butterfly was sponged with various distress inks

Fall Butterfly Card

Hello My friends:

Another post on the series of these "Oval frames dies" from Memory Box...

In the last few posts I have shared with you some cards made with these ovals; one with the country house and the seconfd with the Deer...now is the turn to the butterfly!
See how I folded it ?
I only glue to the card one wing...

I love how you can interchange all these dies and make such different cards...

For this one I choose an unusual color combo, (rust with gray and accents of green and orange)
which I like a lot...
I added to the oval pumpkin die , the flowers around and the butterfly...
Quite simple but I think it looks really pretty...

Cards with Butterflies using Memory Box Dies

in regards my "tendonitis"...

I will try to keep this post short...
I grouped all the cards using Butterflies in one post...

Here we go ...
several Butterfly cards featured at the language blogs (Spanish and French) for Memory Box, using the NEW release for the new year 2016 as part of my contributions for the design team!

1- Using the "Calais Butterfly" DIE:
using the same layout (reversed) but same die and different color scheme....

using the "negative" with "faux" wood paper as background...

This time using the "positive"///....
a very different look using the same die: "The colette butterfly branch" die.

this card was paired with the "Calais" one in the right side of the card...
