Hello dear blogger friends:
Here Bibiana showing you how to stretch your steel dies!
Use them as stencils
to color with your watercolor brushes...
I made these 2 very different cards using the same dies (3 dies in total)...
some watercolor brushes to paint, and here it is the result!
Step 1:
First gather your dies
I used these 3 sets of dies...
die cut the branches as you will regular do in white card stock...
Step 2;
Use the negative section of this die and use it as an stencil.
Place it over watercolor paper.
Paint the flowers with a purple "Zig Clean" watercolor brush.
Then add water with a Watercolor brush to soften the color
Step 3:
repeat same process,
this time chose a green color brush to color the leaves
this time chose a green color brush to color the leaves
Step 4:
add water over the leaves with a watercolor brush...
Step 5:
remove the negative section/the "stencil"
and this is the result...
add some color around...(yellow) to the panel on the left....
use BOTH panels to make 2 distinctive cards
The panel on the left (the watercolor image) was used in this card...
Embellish the card with some black butterflies on one corner...
add sentiment on center
add purple flowers
The panel on the right (the negative section that you used as an "stencil") was used in this card...
Die cut all the elements: sentiment; flowers, branches...
Die cut small white flowers and pop them on the center...
add some purple rhinestones...
Use the same sentiment as first card but put it separate on the corners of the card
add branches on opposite corners
Last view of both cards
I hope you enjoy this tutorial...
and stretch your dies...
use them as stencils to color with watercolors ...
Thanks for the visit
and see you next time for another tutorial...
