When I saw this bird die I fell in love...and I was looking to make something with it. The good news is that this die from the "Open Studio" Line from Memory Box comes with 5 dies, 5 different extra birds to use. I really like it!
This card is posted at the Spanish Blog: "A crear se dijo!" for Memory Box!
I had done the butterfly and reserved it for another card but when I saw it on my desk I decided to use it in here , then I decided to cut it in half and use it for the wing of my little bird. I added some feathers and that is how I decorated my bird.
Do not forget to use your dies as stencils too!
remember that before releasing the paper from the die, sponge some ink through the apertures and then release the paper ...you will have use your die as an stencil.
I did this technique on the Butterfly with Distress ink.
I used as well the "Raymelle" stencil, very chic for the background and finished the card with the "Open Studio" die lovely smile, this one comes with 3 different fonts of the word smile!
I hope you like it as much as I do!
Very easy... yet catching!
Have a lovely day
