The Bokeh Technique with Distress Inks

Hello My dear stamper Friends:

Have you heard about the "Bokeh" technique?

I have seeing it at various sites and I decided to use it on this card that I posted at the french blog:"Un brin de créativité" for Memory Box.

This technique usually is done with watercolors, but I decided to try it with "Distress Inks" and I think it gives the same effect...

I sponged various ink colors on the watercolor paper, then I splash some water, let it dry...
With a DIY stencil of circles I sponge with white ink various sizes of circles and voilà!

 this is the "Bokeh" effect...

Here is it another view!
I hope you give it a try if you have not done so...

Thanks for the visit
and I will see you next time
with another craft project

until then have a great day,

  3. Love this card Bibiana. Have seen it appear in several sites, but not looked to see what it is about. Your background is gorgeous, and as I love the Distress inks, will surely give it a go.
