On December 12th, the day when it is celebrated the day of the "Our lady of Guadalupe" the patron of the Americas, I posted this card at the French Blog for Memory Box: "Un brin de créativité", on her honor...
if you like this card, share it on Pinterest!
simply hover over the image (top right) and click on the "P" symbol.
Did you know that poinsettias are Mexican flowers, brought to The USA by an American ambassador?
I used soft colors that remind me the "Shabby Chic" style and I mix and match some Memory Box Dies with Some "Poppystamps" dies...
The background die is a "Poppystamp" die called "Meso Background"...
I hope all your Christmas preparations are going smoothly...
Thank you for the visit and Big Hugs

I always love the flowers climbing up a lattice looking background, lovely!
ReplyDeleteI just found this posting here too. Seems like I´m getting a bit behind here with all my girls around LOL.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful card here too, I absolutely love this one. I just heard the story about the poinsettia and how it came here to Europe too a few days agom, and until then, I had no idea either, that it was a Mexican flower, but I do now. It is a really gorgeous flower, and it is the ultimate christmas flower here at least now a days, and I also found out, that we could get it in several more colors, than I´ve seen at least, as I´ve always only seen it in red and white/creamy colors, but it was also in a pink color too and a very bright red as well.
I hope, you have finished all your work for chriasstmas now and will be able to enjoy the last days with your lovely family too.
But else I´ll wish all here a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year too.
