Looking yesterday at some statistics, I was amazed and VERY happy and exited to see that my Blog has almost 400 subscribers through "Feedburner" and "Bloglovin" combined, my You Tube Channel has almost 450 followers and at my Pinterest Boards there are around a 1,000 people!!!
For me, It is not about the numbers... although it was very gratifying seeing them...but I believe It is about EACH ONE of YOU out there following what I do...from the bottom of my heart and very humbly I said THANK YOU...
So today's ATC tutorial is dedicated (and practically all my blog) to ALL OF YOU: occasional visitor, frequent commentator, swap friend, subscriber / reader that without YOUR support this creative outlet will not be as fulfilling as it is right now for me...
OK, Here we go with the ATC TUTORIAL...in 4 BIG steps...
Note: for best results work on a "craft sheet" as shown (inks and ink tools will flow better)
I- DISTRESS BASE
1-Cut your papers at 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (one in white cardstock, one in acetate)
2- distress/sponge your white base with different inks.
use foam ink replacements with the ink tools
Distress inks used: "Faded Jeans", "Shabby Shutters" and "Brushed Corduroy" ( I am about to add this last color on the white openings)
II- STAMP both papers (cardstock and acetate)
1- stamp an image with "black: Stazon" on the acetate paper (must be Stazon)
Note: you can buy pre-printed acetate papers if you want to skip this step...
2- stamp on your sponged card with black ink some images of your choice...
III- COLOR ACETATE
1- choose some alcohol inks colors to "stain" the acetate paper
2- on the REVERSE side of inked acetate, Dab with ink applicator one color, then pick a 2nd alcohol ink as shown on acetate paper on the left side (you barely see the acetate on the photo) ...
on the right side of the photo: see how the acetate with the inked black image and the stained colors on the back pops even more when placed on top of your sponged base
Alcohol Inks used : "Lettuce" and "Stream"
Note: for a more diluted effect use Alcohol blending solution...I wanted more vibrant effect so I did NOT used it here
use a felt ink replacement with the ink tool
IV- ASSEMBLED AND EMBELLISH
1- add Embellishments: attach acetate unto base by using trinkets with brads (I did not use any glue on all my ATC's), wrap with twine...
add on the back the black tab divider (this one came with the "7 Gypsies carousel holder")
2- Punch holes if needed...(this "7 gypsies" punch makes this type of holes )
View of the "YZ" letter divider inside the carousel...
Front of the letter "L" divider
The letter "L" divider disassembled
follow the 4 steps
1- distress base
2- stamp both papers (cardstock and acetate)
3- color acetate
4- Assemble and embellish
Another Sample.
Front of the letter "N" divider
View of the letter "N" divider dissasembled (here, on the acetate, I used the alcohol ink fillable pen instead of the ink applicator for more control of the colored areas)
follow the 4 steps
1- distress base
2- stamp both papers (cardstock and acetate)
3- color acetate
4- Assemble and embellish
This is it for today! hoping that I am bringing to you some creative sunshine... keep on crafting!
Thanks for the visit and I wish you a lovely day...

Magnifique ATC! Le plus difficile dans l'utilisation des acetates est de les coller sans que l'on voit la colle! D'ailleurs ici tu n'utilises pas de colle, malin!

Oh my sweet Bibiana, it's is use who have to thank you, we follow you because your always teaching us things, your work alone is inspiring.. The ATC is GORGEOUS, I sent it on to my 2 crafting friends, now they can make one too or maybe more. I haven't any Alcohol Ink so I'm going to try and make some.. Then I can try this technique, when I can get to my desk. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful creative week..

Hello Bibiana, c'est superbe et l'on apprend des choses avec toi. Je ne pensais pas que l'encre pouvait tenir sur l'acétate et rendre aussi bien. Tes ATC sont superbes et les embellissements aussi ! Bises
