ATC Triptych For Lavinia's challenge # 8 - add some Glitter

Hello My Dear Crafty and Stamper Friends:

Settle in back little by little from my trip to Atlanta, Georgia...
I hope you to got to see the pics of all the NEW craft products coming in at my newly opened Instagram site...
If not... just scroll down one post...

But, Here we are for our monthly gathering for Lavinia's Challenge # 8 - add some glitter!

For this month challenge, I decided on top of the glitter to make this Fun ATC in a Triptych way...
Using 3 main darling stamps from Lavinia's whimsical world...

ATC triptych glitter lavinia stamps
pin it:

Each one of the main images were stamped with "the essential glue pad" (glue to use for stamping and then adhering the glitter)
I poured some gold glitter over the star gazing fairy couple, letting it dry before taking off the excess glitter...
Stamp some foliage and stars to finish the scene.

All 3 ATC were matted over glitter paper .
I added a Memory Box die for the frame on the back, a tiny bird and some other stamped images

The fairy Melodie silhouette was stamped with pink glitter and I added some liquid pearls, and stickles..

Here it is a second sample for your inspiration...
Very different style! more "vintage" looking

vintage card with Shaylee fairy
pin it:

1st technique:
The background was made by inking an embossing folder with a brayer then placing a paper inside the folder and then running the folder through the embossing machine (I used my "Cuttlebug").
You will get a 2 tone embossed paper.

the 2nd technique:
used in this card is the "shadow" effect ;
by stamping once the image 1st in dark ink
a second time using your stamp positioner with the image a little bit off to create that shadow with "Versamark" ink, then pour some glittered embossing powder.
and finally adding a shadow all around the image for more definition with a chalk tool applicator..

A Triptych and a Tag for Lavinia Challenge #3- add something Pink

Hello Dear Stamper Friends:

For the month of March, the theme for Lavinia's challenge # 3  is "add something pink"!
I made a triptych and a tag as part of my contributions as my DTM for your inspiration..

The triptych or "Gatefold" uses as a main focal point the "Acorn Dwelling" stamp

I stamp several times the "Wild Poppies" with Pink inks and then, I colored over it with "Prismacolor" pencils to give them more interests and contrast, see below.

I first, ink all the flora in different shades of pink inks and second, I emboss some of them as well with white embossing powder.
The little fairy has parchment wings...

I punch some holes on the front and thread the ribbon through, stamp some more and add some silver "Stickles" to the rocks on the floor...(note: the rocks come from the stamp "Acorn Dwelling")
Here it is how it looks closed...

and for the tag I used the  lovely  "Nissa" fairy  Stamp

She is giving some magic "food" to the birds (the stars were gold embossed)
here it is a close up

I hope I inspired you to play along with us and post a card using at least one Lavinia stamp
for the chance to win a £40 voucher to be spend at Lavinia's web shop

Note: if you do not have a blog, but want to participate to the challenges...no worries, e-mail entries are accepted as well...

So, Go and visit the Lavinia's Challenge blog to see ALL the samples posted by the entire DT ...and post yours (through your blog or by e-mail
