Vintage Perfume Bottles with Lost Coast Designs Stamps

Hello My dear Stamper Friends:

Today I am posting here in my blog this card that I featured at the "Lost Coast Designs LCD blog" for World Card Making Day!...

pin it:

Do you remember that I posted 5 different cards that day?

I went crazy last, October 4th, as I posted 5 different cards on  all the 5 different blogs that I contribute to...I had to do it! it was card making day!...

But what you do not know is
that this rush came out of nowhere,
at the very last moment
and it was not planned at all!!!

The only card that  I had done it  a few weeks before, it was the baby one that I posted right here in my blog but the rest were not done!!!

I made them at the very last moment (some the day before)

but This particular one was my last one done  in the middle of the night (couldn't sleep)...that is why I said crazy... because as I said, the idea came out of nowhere and I had to make the cards to post on all the different blogs!!!  I guess, I was with my batteries on!!! you know like that commercial with the rabbit!!! going and going ha ha ha!!! I laugh now at myself picturing me doing and doing cards in the middle of the night to post them at the blogs!!!...how crazy is that? and where is the reason for doing all that? well, no reason, I had to do it! but I got lots of pleasure!!! LOL!

onto the card...
First I wanted to make a tag, but at the end I decided to place it in a A2 card ...

I started by heat embossing in white the "rose" stamp then I  sponged the background with different distress inks... (resist embossing technique)
then I stamped the chicken wire stamp background...
stamped all the other images, perfume bottles, bee, crown and then added them onto the card..

Ok my friends! thanks for the visit!
and remember
next week,
starting on Monday,
many inspiration cards
and prizes coming your way!

A Triptych and a Tag for Lavinia Challenge #3- add something Pink

Hello Dear Stamper Friends:

For the month of March, the theme for Lavinia's challenge # 3  is "add something pink"!
I made a triptych and a tag as part of my contributions as my DTM for your inspiration..

The triptych or "Gatefold" uses as a main focal point the "Acorn Dwelling" stamp

I stamp several times the "Wild Poppies" with Pink inks and then, I colored over it with "Prismacolor" pencils to give them more interests and contrast, see below.

I first, ink all the flora in different shades of pink inks and second, I emboss some of them as well with white embossing powder.
The little fairy has parchment wings...

I punch some holes on the front and thread the ribbon through, stamp some more and add some silver "Stickles" to the rocks on the floor...(note: the rocks come from the stamp "Acorn Dwelling")
Here it is how it looks closed...

and for the tag I used the  lovely  "Nissa" fairy  Stamp

She is giving some magic "food" to the birds (the stars were gold embossed)
here it is a close up

I hope I inspired you to play along with us and post a card using at least one Lavinia stamp
for the chance to win a £40 voucher to be spend at Lavinia's web shop

Note: if you do not have a blog, but want to participate to the challenges...no worries, e-mail entries are accepted as well...

So, Go and visit the Lavinia's Challenge blog to see ALL the samples posted by the entire DT ...and post yours (through your blog or by e-mail
you will have until the end of the month to submit your card

 GOOD LUCK!
