Evening Gown with a Train

Hello Dear Stamper and Crafty Friends:

I have being a little bit absent from "Blogland", your blogs and mine...
because These late days I have suffered a tremendous loss in my life...which I am still trying to process, still to hard to talk about it...

BUT,  Since my blog is mostly dedicated to paper crafts projects...I will not overwhelm you with my personal tribulations...I will simply say that when the moment will come I will share a special post on this heartache that I am living right now...

But, let's talk about The post that I published at the French Blog: "Un brin de Créativité" for Memory Box as part of my DT assignments...

an Evening Gown with a train...

Here are the supplies used...
I first stamped the background with the "Wild Rose" stamp in white "Memento Luxe" ink.
then sprayed the whole with "Shimmer Spray"

I have used once more the "Brea Ornament"
Here are the cards in where I have,  in several occasions, used this die, as a fall flower, a Christmas ornament, a skirt and as a basket for Easter...
so as you can see this die Is a must one to have ....

for this one, I die cut several "Brea ornaments" to make the long train and attached them to the dress form die and note that the bust is made with part of this die, set in diagonal and embellished with pearls and on the waist with some pink ribbon

this card can be used as a birthday,  as an anniversary, a sweet sixteen (a "Quinceañera"), a wedding etc...

here is a view of the long train...with the doilies tucked underneath the dress form and the tulle on the side...

Wedding Cash Anniversary Envelope

Hello My Dear Stamper and Crafty Friends:

I am back from a trip that I made to back East...
I attended  a wedding back east, in New York...and this is the "gift" envelope that we gave to the couple!!!

We wanted to give them cash, as they are moving from state so I decided to make this envelope to hold the money...
but this card can be as well used as an anniversary one or for a 1st communion...

wedding envelope open

To keep the envelope closed I added a magnet for the closure...see the small scalloped circles

On the front...I used several dies:
the edge was done with "PaperTrey Ink edgers #1" die border,
the flower comes from "Memory Box" and the tiny ones from "Poppystamps"
the flourish is "Cheery Lynn"
the leaf is "Poppystamps"
the word is from "My favorite Things" ...

for a exact list of supplies see the bottom on the supplies section...

I used various sheets of cream, taupe, off white "Stardream" card stock as it is sturdy and the shine is very pretty...added various dies from different companies and finished with some lace...
At the end I added some pearls on the centers of the flowers...

on the flap, I added magnetic snaps to shut the envelope and hide them with scallop circles.
Embellish with branches and flowers  from "Memory Box"

The top bottom part is folded and the edge was punched...
the bottom is glued on the sides...to make the pocket
