A fun Background and Technique....
for this cute Jelly-fish die from The NEW release of dies for this spring from Memory Box
Alcohol inks on gloss paper with spray dust remover
- On glossy paper, place several drops of alcohol ink...
- immediately (the alcohol ink dries VERY fast) spray air in all directions with the straw provided
- I use a can of "quickly remover of dust" (for your computer keypad) which is compressed air...
the result is this
I made one sheet and I can use it for several cards
detail of the jelly-fish die cut also in vellum, see corners...
I made this card for Mother's day...
But I could not posted last Sunday, because I had scheduled it to be featured at the English blog of Memory Box: "Outside the Box" for today...so I could not show it before!!!
REMEMBER to Comment there TODAY for the chance to win this stencil!
But the card can be giving anyways for a birthday or for Mother's day in FRANCE, which is celebrated this coming May 25th! (Or save it for next year!! :) )
So "Bonne Fête Maman!"
But I think, what it is important here, it is the technique...!
As I mentioned yesterday, I used this same stencil "garden Umbel" in a mix media canvas (yesterdays' post) see next...
and today I used it here in this post with alcohol inks and "Pearlescent" embossing paste and look how different they are...aren't they? it seems like it is a different stencil!!!

I made a separate VIDEO as well on how to make a "many loops bow" ...in case you missed it last time.
And with no further explanations
here it is

on an Easel Card"
