Holiday Blog Hop
Day #1

The Blog Hop is from Dec 2 til Dec 4th
You will have until Dec 10 to submit comments
winners will be selected at random
and announced on Dec 15th on the MB and PPS main blogs

If you are coming from Sue McRae, welcome to my blog!

I am Bibiana, I am in the DT of Memory Box
and I blog post in the French and Spanish blogs for MB

For my contribution for today's Hop
I made a Non Traditional Holiday Recipe Tag!

memory box holiday recipe tag front

During "Our" (Spanish speaking people) up coming traditional Holiday gatherings;
We have 9 in total, starting Dec 16th until Christmas eve,  known as "Novena" for Colombians  and for Mexicans as "Posadas",  I will be giving to each guest this tag with one of my favorite recipes included on the inside.  Each family take turns to host during these 9 evenings...and on the day that it is my turn I will be giving away to each guest as a memento of our night this tag!

This year I wanted to make something different and I decided to make a tag to give away with a non holiday traditional theme and with unusual colors for the season.
For this I used this beautiful "Bountiful Sunflower" die from Poppystamps

paired with some stencils and dies from Memory Box

For the top I used a flower die from Memory Box

and the inside and front of the tag were stenciled with  the "Blooming Frame" and the "Mesh" stencils.
I place a button with an elastic for the closure.

Hope you give it a try making Holiday projects using as well non traditional colors and themes!

Here it is today's complete list of the DT participating in this event!
Have fun hoping!

  42. Hi again, Bibiana. I just popped over to visit you this evening, but when I saw that MB-Poppy were doing a hop, saw some names of blog friends, I just wandered from place to place, enjoying all the shares. Some really fantastic tags & ornaments - with these great dies. I have a good die collection, but MB-Poppy dies remain my favorites. Not just for the beauty of the die, but the confidence that when I cut the die, it will cut smoothly & I don't have to struggle to release the finished cut. A real quality product in my opinion! TFS your beautiful creation, and linking so that I could enjoy quite a few additional beautiful tags. G'nite
