Christmas Ornament Card

Hello My Dear Stamper Friends:

A quick "Inlay technique" card using Memory Box dies  for a Christmas card...

pin it:

I used the die directly as an stencil to arrive to this 2 tone effect on the flower...

HOW TO:
inlay: die cut twice the ornament in white and in green. insert green pieces onto the white ornament
stencil; leave die on the  paper, sponge with purple ink through the holes, remove die and you will have the colored flower

  1. Hi Bibiana,

Such a stunning card, those baubles...wow!

I know how you feel about the parcel its so frustrating what they charge, you pay postage so that should be it, its ridiculous. Thank you again for being so understanding.

    Love & Hugs

    1. hey jacquie , thanks for visiting and commenting!!!...

      for those interested in knowing what happened to a blog candy that I sent to Jacquie;
FYI: I sent a parcel from the USA to Jacquie in the UK, postage was quite expensive...
but do you imagine that she had to pay customs over there on top of my postage??? it was so much that she had to return the parcel to me...don't you think this is outrageous!!! I am so disappointed on the mail , and poor Jacquie, that could not get any of my gifts!!!
anyways, I just had to get it out of my system :) and share it with all of you!
      GGRRR!!!

  5. Elle est super jolie et délicate cette carte de Noël, mais pour l'instant Noël est encore loin pour moi, je reviens à peine de vacances, même si je sais que le temps passe vite et qu'il va falloir m'y mettre!!
    Bonne soirée

  9. Having parcels from overseas to UK can be a real pain. Taxes and handling charges are applied for anything with a value of over £15 even when a gift. Your card is gorgeous - love the colours and style.

  12. This is really beautiful, Bibiana! I love how you employed the inlay technique on this stunning card! That really is horrendous about the postage and the custom charges. I only learned about the UK asking for more about a year ago and I was so devastated because I had send a friend a BOX of goodies that cost me $58 in US postage! What an outrage is right! I wish there was something we could do about it. Hugs, Darnell

  13. Such a beautiful card Bibiana, it´s both classic but ooooh soo elegant the same time. I really like it.
I know all about that, and I can say Jacqui is even one of the lucky ones then, if she can accept up to 15£, cause here we can´t get over 12 US$ or about max. 8£ and if it gets over, we´re charged both custum and tax of both the price of the itmes, AND of the postage too, so with that on top, it can be really expensive sometimes. SO a good advise Bibiana, that I´ve learned over the years, if you send anything to anyone over here, then unwrap the things, and pretend it´s used stuff and just put a value outside of the parcel to not go over these amounts, then they normally goes throug custom with no problems, at least here. I can ofcause not say if that would help in the UK, but I haven´t payed anything since we began to do that, so if I order anything in the US now, I have it sent to a friend, who then pack all out and rewrap it and put a new slip outside, and since then it´s been okay. Just a small advise, that might help at least some.
    Have a great week-end everyone.
