Use your Dies as Stencils

Hello My dear Stamper friends:

remember to use your dies as stencils...

front use your dies as stencils

I featured this card at the Spanish Blog: "A crear se dijo!" for Memory Box ...for our Spanish speaking crafters...

In this card I used a regular stencil from "Memory Box" for the background  called "Brilliant" (brown background)
and the die itself of the flower as an stencil as well...

This stencil technique uses the open spaces from the die where you can applied ink...

First, after die cutting your piece, do not remove the paper from the die, sponge directly into the openings

coloring onto the opennings of the die use your dies as stencils

then remove the paper from the die to reveal the colored petals...
You have used your die as a stencil...this is what I called "stretching" your dies...

Last week I shared here with you a tutorial on how to use the dies as stencils with 2 different techniques:
see the post : "Flower border edged using a NON border edge"

In this post, I am showcasing technique #1
where you are coloring onto the openings...

technique #2 is coloring directly onto the die, refer to the post mentioned above...if you want to see it again...
