The Bokeh Technique with Distress Inks

Hello My dear stamper Friends:

Have you heard about the "Bokeh" technique?

I have seeing it at various sites and I decided to use it on this card that I posted at the french blog:"Un brin de créativité" for Memory Box.

This technique usually is done with watercolors, but I decided to try it with "Distress Inks" and I think it gives the same effect...

I sponged various ink colors on the watercolor paper, then I splash some water, let it dry...
With a DIY stencil of circles I sponge with white ink various sizes of circles and voilà!

 this is the "Bokeh" effect...

Here is it another view!
I hope you give it a try if you have not done so...

  4. Love this card Bibiana. Have seen it appear in several sites, but not looked to see what it is about. Your background is gorgeous, and as I love the Distress inks, will surely give it a go.
