Hello DEAR Stamper friends:

Memory Box has launched the NEW winter 2015 release...
and today it is the 1st day of the Blog Blitz...

We, all the DT will be showing you throughout this week the projects that we have created using the gorgeous products for this NEW release...
and Of course there will be prizes all week long....
so visit me at both of the language blogs
French blog; "Un brin de Créativité" and the Spanish one: "A crear se Dijo!"
and  leave me a comment there for a chance to win a die or a stencil...

For my post today, I decided to make a watercolor background with some spots/splats of water, using the NEW Memory Box "Love Connection" die.
This card can be send as a Valentines one...or to send a warm "Hello" to any friend...

The collection has a whooping number of
82 NEW Memory Box craft dies
40 NEW "Open Studio" dies (this is a new line, with coordinating shapes and dies, color coded on the packaging)
5 NEW stencils
70 NEW Poppystamps dies

You can see the entire collection at Memory Box main website

For the background..
On a piece of watercolor paper, I first sponged 3 colors of "Tim Holtz Distress Inks", from light to dark, creating a gradient effect.
I dropped with a round brush some splats of water, let them spread and  let dry...
These inks react to water and this is the end results...

I added 2 sets of hearts connected to each other, add a flower on the left bottom corner and the "hello" sentiment on the bottom ...
The wow effect is mainly created by the watercolor patches/splats and the gradient colors ...

for a fun extra project...
I connected (insert one with another NO glue)
several sets of "Love Connection" hearts
and I got a cute banner
that I placed on top of the TV that I have at my Craft room...
