Lavinia Challenge 12-Flowers on Acetate and Glossy Paper

Hello Dear Stamper and Crafter Friends: [on this post I will cover 3 different subjects...]

Let's start with Lavinia's Challenge...and the cards for this post!
On this second of the month (UK time) I am here once more bringing you some inspiration using Lavinia Stamps...as part of my contributions as a DT of Lavinia's Stamps.
The challenge for this month #12 and last one for this year!
is to use some flowers..

I used 2 flowers from the NEW collection and I showcased them with 2 fun stamping techniques.

The first card uses the "Fairy Pods" stamps. The flowers were stamped on acetate paper and glitter.

Follow the steps for this awesome technique;

step 1; stamp on acetate the flowers with black "Stazon".
I curved the pods to make this arrangement.

step 2: take another piece of acetate to use as a palette...

Note: this will be not discarded...I will use this palette in another card (not shown here) but know that this ink and acetate paper will be used in another card, so do not throw it...

(left) on this acetate sheet place 3 drops of "diamond glaze" and 3 drops of ink each one with a different color (archival ink: Wendy Vecchi), mix glaze with ink
on the reverse side color the flowers with a brush, clean it with water between colors

step 3; add more diamond glaze around the flowers, sprinkle glitter

this is how it looks when dry...

step 4; let it dry and place on card, add some die cuts from "Memory Box" - ribbons and sentiment from "Penny Black"
This card can be used vertically (top photo) or in a horizontal way (below)

For the 2nd card:
I used the "Floral Spray" stamp and "mica gloss - from Judikins" (which is a highly pigmented and Pearlescent metallic ink) on black glossy paper (technique explained in a future post) to create this incredible shiny background

and used the same flower with white embossing powder on acetate for the front

add some die cuts;
these were taken from the "merry Christmas tidings"  die from Memory Box

Good Luck!

Second,
I have an exceptional request to make:
a friend of mine Claudine with "Les CREAS de Claudine"  is requesting people to send to her very ill son - Anthony - some Christmas cards...
Apparently he loves the USA and would love to receive a special note from here (from any place too, of course)...
Claudine's original post is in French, as she lives in France (but you can translate it with "Google Translate") but  she and her son would love to receive a special note for this Christmas to cheer him up a bit and make him smile. His last stay at the hospital did not go so well and he is in need to some support...so if you are interested in sending him a card contact me and I will give you her address...thanks in advance!

And third...
