It's a Boy!!!...

Hello Dear Stamper Friends:
As you may already know...it is all over the news...it's a baby Boy!...Congratulations Great Britain and the to the dukes of Cambridge for this bundle of joy!

if you liked this card, click on "Pin It" button:

I decided to be in the global mood of jubilee with this new arrival and I went right away last night and made this card...I got inspired by one sign that was floating in one of the buildings in London and I decided to make this stork...I took the "Fying Goose" die from Memory box; added the hat from "the gentleman leaping" die and hang from his beak this swaddle of clothes...How Cute!!!

For the background I decided to emboss it with a Tim Holtz embossing folder, added silver glitter paper, and heat emboss with silver the sentiment and Voilà!...I think it turned out quite pretty...

I posted another baby card at my Spanish blog; "A crear se Dijo!"  for Memory Box, so if you like to see what I did there just click on the title and check it out!

  1. Beautifully created - what a wonderful card! I love that blue gingham hat!! Yes I saw the coverage of the "new baby" just a little while ago. A dream couple and their new wee one. And to think it is a boy - now how perfect can you get!!

  6. Sweet little card, the world certainly entered into the spirit of the event. I had to remind the Americans at work that they made their thoughts known in 1776 when they gained their Independence, and now all they ever seem to talk about is the Royals! I think they're more interested than us British people!

As to my card, it was completely ready apart from the sentiment when the die arrived, so I simply cut the "25" bauble and added that with some Baker's Twine. I can email it to you but it's mostly Penny Black with a tiny bit of Memory Box!

PS. Very interesting upbringing you have had, the closest I get to South America is in my knitting! The South American yarns are very popular, I like Malabrigo and Manos del Uraguay!
