I did this tag using all Memory Box dies to give to a friend ...I hope she will not see this post yet! :)...otherwise it will not be a surprise for her...this tag was featured at my French blog "Un Brin de Créativité" for MB...
Here it is a close up to this tag...The tea cup was colored in gray tones with my "Copics" and I shaped all the flowers to gave them more dimension,
Notice, as well that I place some pistils/"stamens" in the middle of the flowers...
I tucked inside the hand made paper flowers a small Lavender branch in souvenir of our afternoon...
My friend grows Lavender in her garden and she kindly brought me this lovely vase with a tiny type of Lavender that she grows as well...
And, we spend the afternoon making "Lavender Wands"
Here is the bucket that she brought me...and all the pretty ribbons that we used to make them!..
This is the first one that I made ...
I had a great time, although it was a little bit windy but we enjoyed ourselves very much and now I have plenty more Lavender to make some more "Lavender Wands" to put in my closets...they smell so good and they make great gifts too!!!
So I hope she will like the tag that I made for her in souvenir of our "Crafty" afternoon...

ReplyDeleteLove your thank you tag with the little bit of lavender. We have lavender fields near where we live and they look gorgeous when in full bloom and the scent is divine. I have never made a wand and have not seen those before.
